President Javier Milei of Argentina announced plans to withdraw his nation from the World Health Organization on Wednesday, the latest in a series of moves by Mr. Milei that mimic President Trump’s efforts to break with international norms and alliances.
“We will never be the architects of the Draconian locks,” Mr. Milei wrote in X, referring to the help of the W. H. O. to giant quarantines during pandemic. He called the blockade “one of the maximum flagrant crimes opposed to the humanity of history. “
“That’s why we’ve made the decision to withdraw from such a destructive organization,” he added, “who acted as the branch of the major app delights in history. “
President Trump has signed an order to withdraw the United States from the WHO. For a long time to WHO, even writing an electronic book condemning pandemic policies in 2020, but only retired from the organization weeks after Trump did the same.
If the United States and Argentina will adhere to their plans, it will be registered in Liechtenstein as only the United Nations Nations members of the United Nations who are not members of the United Nations Global Health Alliance.
This reflects the efforts of Mr. Milei to align his country with Trump’s burned in foreign order, even if this is done to the detriment of the allies and past associations in Argentina.
