RAWALPIndi: The COVID positivity rate has reached 0% in Rawalpindi thanks to the government’s tireless efforts in the face of the deadly virus.
The division’s surveillance officer, Dr. Waqar Ahmed, told the APP on Wednesday that fortunately, the COVID-19 rate has been recorded at 0 percent in the district as no cases have been tested in the past 24 hours.
He reported that no less than 47,741 cases of coronavirus have been registered, 44,109 belong to Rawalpindi and 3,632 to districts.
Dr. Waqar reported that another 1777 people have lost the war of their lives since the pandemic in the district, adding 1341 from Rawalpindi and 436 from other districts.
“46,391 were discharged after recovery, adding 42,761 from Rawalpindi and 3,632 from outside the district. “He added that seven patients shown were quarantined at home and none in any gym.
