August 25 (UPI) – The percentage of asymptomatic youth with COVID-19 is roughly the same as the rate of new cases in the population of the surrounding community, according to a statement released on Tuesday.
In a city like San Francisco, where the length of popular elegance from kindergarten through third grade is 22 students, there is a 22% chance that at least one elegant child will have the disease, according to researchers.
“Now any organization (schools, hospitals, day care centers) that wants to estimate the prevalence of infection [COVID-19] in their network can do so with some confidence, based on public data,” said co-author Dr Dylan Chan. Upi.
Chan, an associate professor of otolaryngology at the university, said that, even with symptom detection, the first step in evaluating one of these youth teams is to estimate the threat of a user being inflamed but asymptomatic.
To date, estimates of asymptomatic youth have been made in a number of small studies, with patients being screened for the virus when they visited hospitals or clinics for other fitness services, the researchers said.
For analysis, the team calculated the prevalence of the positive effects of COVID-19 control (2. 2%) in just over 33,000 symptom-free youth in 28 youth hospitals in the United States between May 1 and 29.
“Even in spaces where the number of instances was quite low, instances of asymptomatic youth with infection [COVID-19] were detected, so Array . . . will practically eliminate the threat in a giant school without competitive [prevention] measures,” Chan told me.
