ASTANA. Most of the country will revel in rainy weather on October 17, with heavy rains hitting the mountainous regions of southern Kazakhstan that day, Kazhydromet reports.
Only the western regions will take advantage of today’s dry climate. The wind speed will strengthen the republic and fog will cover the west, northwest and northern regions.
Heavy rains will hit the mountainous spaces of the Turkestan region.
Astana – partly cloudy, some rain (an aggregate of rain and snow), wind 9-14 m/s, 0 2 °C at night, 6 8 °C in the day;
Almaty – partly cloudy, rain at the end of the day, wind 2-7m/s, occasionally 12m/s, 10-12°C at night, 16-18°C in the day;
Shymkent – partly cloudy, rain in the morning and day, wind 8-13m/s, 8 10°C at night, 18 20°C.
