CITY OF LUCENA – The city corridor off the coast of the city of General Luna in the province of Quezón temporarily closed its doors on Monday after some of its workers the new coronavirus (COVID-19).
“It is imaginable that we can achieve positive effects for COVID-19,” the local government said. The local government did not specify how many of its workers were inflamed with the virus.
At least nine of the instances remained active. The city, in the Bondoc Peninsula district, facing Tayabas Bay, has registered 10 times.
On Sunday, Quezón, which remains in general network quarantine status, recorded a total of 4990 instances of COVID-19, of which 921 remained active, and the province recorded 3,928 recoveries.
The number of COVID-19 deaths in the province increased to 141 after two other patients died in the town of Candelaria on Saturday.
