Queen Letizia of Spain has been plagued by coronavirus

Spanish Queen Letizia was tested for the coronavirus after shaking hands and kissing Equality Minister Irene Montero on the cheek.

Montero has since been with coronavirus and she and her partner, Pablo Iglesias, are now in quarantine.

Queen Letizia met with Montero and many others at a meeting with the APRAMP (Association for the Prevention, Reinsertion and Care of Prostituted Women) on Friday, March 6.

He announced on Thursday, March 12, that the Minister of Equality, Irene Montero, had tested positive for the virus.

Since Queen Letizia met Montero, she has made public appearances, greeting basketball players at Spain’s Queen’s Cup and having lunch with French President Emmanuel Macron and his wife, Brigitte Macron, at the Elysee Palace.

King Felipe VI of Spain has been tested for the virus.

A spokesperson for the Spanish royal family said members of the Spanish royal family were being examined due to Queen Letizia’s public outings and on the recommendation of the local government.

The King and Queen’s effects will be made public on March 13.

Other members of the royal family are also taking precautions. Prince Charles bowed and his son, Prince Harry, was seen bumping his elbow as he greeted others in the Commonwealth service.
