MANILA, Philippines – The Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth) on Thursday warned hospitals and centers that they would claim reimbursement for COVID-19 smear tests that had already been paid through their members.
“They will not be asked to pay the fees already covered through the PhilHealth package,” the firm said, after Bagong Henerasyon’s match list representative Bernadette Herrera Dy said that in some hospitals it was not easy to reimburse check facilities already paid.
