Qiagen launches portable coronavirus rapid

(RTTNews) – Qiagen, a company that provides information pattern responses for molecular testing, announced Tuesday that it plans to launch a new portable coronavirus test, which can produce effects in 15 minutes and analyze more than 30 patterns in an hour.

The Covid-19 test called the Access Antigen Test comes in two versions: one for laboratories and for point-of-care (POC) use, the Dutch-based company said.

“The portable check provides a new mix of speed and scale that marks a step towards the decentralized mass verification that the fitness government around the world is urgently seeking,” Qiagen said in a statement.

The Qiagen SARS-CoV-2 Antigen Control uses eHub, a portable machine, to analyze nasal swab samples. The device, which was introduced in August with the company’s 10-minute anti-coronavirus antibody monitor, can process up to 8 samples at a time.

Qiagen plans to obtain emergency use authorization from the FDA.

The company also aims to download approval in Europe.
