The special edition of the e-book took place in real time, while WISE, in partnership with the Salzburg Global Seminar, brought together key stakeholders and school leaders from more than 98 countries in a series of three-party global meetings aimed at bringing in combination with the global school community. The result has been an ancient and fresh account of how schools, NGOs, governments and foreign organizations responded to the closure of schools in the crisis and how they seek to use this crisis as a springboard to reinvent, and even remodel, school in their communities and countries.
