Qatar has presented a global art festival aimed at resilience to the coronavirus (COVID-19). The Qatar Foundation has requested tickets for The Untold Stories of Resilience exhibition, which will coincide with the Paris Peace Forum in November. Anyone over 16 years old can submit their portraits and all media are welcome, adding photography, virtual reality, portrait and animation, as long as they use virtual technology. contest on its online page, the Qatar Foundation said: “This year, when our planet was affected by COVID-19, our lives changed. Suddenly we had to deal with self-isolation where time slowed down and the area was incredibly tight. But instead of just accepting it, we have shown resilience and adapted to adversity. The exhibition ‘The Untold Stories of Resilience’ focuses on the human capacity to positively face the COVID-19 pandemic and how this stressful moment brought us all together for “This is an invitation for all artists and creatives to express their artistic interpretation of this human resilience. This is your chance to participate in the record of the history we all live and to document our collective strength through art. Shortlisted portraits will appear on the foundation’s social media, and the final 3 winners will get accommodation and an Occasion Priced Ticket for a TED Occasion in Doha in 2022.
