YEREVAN, AUGUSTArray ARMENPRESS. Russian President Vladimir Putin announced in August that his country had registered the world’s first vaccine against coronavirus, RT reported.
According to President Putin, the dose is effective in forming immunity to the virus.
“As far as I know, a coronavirus vaccine was registered this morning (in Russia) for the first time in the world,” RT quoted the Russian president in an assembly with members of his cabinet. “I thank everyone who worked on the vaccine; this is a very vital moment for the world at large.”
Putin under pressure for vaccination in Russia to take place voluntarily.
She also said one of her daughters had already been vaccinated.
“I know it works effectively, the bureaucracy has solid immunity and, I repeat, has passed all the mandatory inspections,” the Russian president added.
