With a thumbs up and a slow strut, President Donald Trump boarded Marine One at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center for the treatment of COVID-19.
“I think this is a very smart point of that, the president of the United States in the highest position in the world, is like any other human who is vulnerable to infection,” Congressman Greg Murphy of the 3rd District said.
Positive tests in more than 24 hours keep coming.

First Melania Trump, Trump’s lead aides, Hope Hicks, former President Kellyanne Conway, Utah Sen. Mike Lee, Notre Dame President, Rev. John Jenkins, who attended Judge Amy Coney Barrett’s Supreme Court nomination announcement and Senator Thom Tillis were all tested positive for COVID-19.
Less than 24 hours before the positive outcome of the control was revealed, Tillis discussed Cal Cunningham at Spectrum News Studios in Raleigh, and Cunningham says they will review it.
Tillis now isolates heses for at least 10 days. In a statement, Tillis has no symptoms and feels good.
“As we all know, COVID-19 is a very contagious and fatal virus, especially since many carriers are asymptomatic,” he said. “I inspire all North Carolinans to stick to the recommendations of medical experts, adding dresses with a mask, washing their hands and practicing social estating. “
The news comes out of Washington like water from a chimney hose. The ramifications of all tests have not yet been determined.
“This can move from the White House to Congress and may be just a significant number of our government officials,” said Dr Michael Bitzer, a political scientist at Catawba College.

Close contacts of all Americans examined are notified. The precise source of this primary epidemic is unclear. Many attended Judge Barrett’s announcement last weekend.
When President Donald Trump confronted former Vice President Joe Biden in this week’s debate, attendees, Sean Kilbane of Charlotte, had to be tested, who showed us his papers of the day with a negative result.
“They took my temperature five times, I passed a COVID-19 check on the day of the debate and before the meeting with the president, I asked questions through White House staff and asked about the symptoms and exposures to COVID,” he said.
Kilbane, like many people, will now consult her doctor to see if she should get tested again.
With Trump in the hospital and other senior remote officials, testing is a frightening reminder that COVID-19 is still with us and that no one is untouchable.
“It’s not a question of whether you have the infection, it’s a matter of when,” Congressman Murphy said.
