President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan won President Filipe Nyusi of Mozambique today at Al Shati Palace, who is in a race to the United Arab Emirates.
At the beginning of the meeting, President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed welcomed the President of Mozambique and his accompanying delegation, hoping that their stopover will be a vital boost for relations between the two countries in the camps.
The assembly discussed facets of UAE-Mozambique relations and opportunities to expand the scope of non-unusual interests.
In this context, the two sides affirmed their unusual interest in improving bilateral relations and promoting them to serve the interests of the two countries and their friendly peoples.
The assembly also discussed cooperation in the field of environment and climate change, in light of the Mozambique club in the Agricultural Innovation for Climate Mission (AIM for Climate) co-led by the UAE and the United States that was announced last year.
Both sides are pressing the role that the Conference of States Parties to the United Nations Convention on Climate Change (COP 28), to be held in the United Arab Emirates next year, can play in this regard.
The two leaders exchanged perspectives on a range of regional and foreign issues of unusual interest.
For his part, President Nyusi expressed his thanks and gratitude to His Highness for the warm welcome, stressing his preference to continue running with him for the expansion and prosperity of bilateral ties.
The assembly was attended by several senior officials of the United Arab Emirates.
