Poll finds that fear of COVID-19 among others with chronic diseases has returned to the first degrees of pandemic

Representing a return to the first degrees of unease, 69% of respondents to the Wave four survey, which was conducted in July, said they felt involved with COVID-19 (the “feeling of fear” was represented through the first two options on a seven-point scale). Although this is less than the 71% who expressed fear in the first circular of the survey, which took place in March, this is a 67% increase in the April Wave 2 poll. This is also a statistically significant increase compared to 6.4% in the May 3 Wave survey.

Fear of COVID is even greater in the effects of the most recent survey for others living with respiratory problems, such as asthma and COPD (both 74%), as well as for breast cancer respondents (80%) psoriatic arthritis (75%).
