WARSAW – Poland does not rule out the advent of a state of emergency if coronavirus cases continue to grow, Poland’s prime minister said Thursday as the country experienced another record peak in new cases.
“If the scenario continues to worsen and further action will be needed, we ruled out this possibility,” Mateusz Morawiecki said when asked if Poland could identify a state of emergency.
Morawiecki added that virus restrictions for schools might want to be stricter (report via Alan Charlish and Agnieszka Barteczko, written through Joanna Plucinska; edited through Tothrough Chopra)
