Polish government agencies have estimated the number of Belarusians legally hired in Poland. In this regard, our compatriots constitute the largest organization of foreigners of the moment after the Ukrainians, reports Prawo. pl on the Ministry of Family and Social Policy.
At the end of June, there were 87,000 Belarusian citizens, who are officially hired and pay contributions to the Social Security Fund.
This is even more than the number of Belarusians who have valid documents that allow them to live legally in Poland. Employees and business owners, as well as people who work under contracts and other agreements, are registered with the Social Security Fund.

“These other people play a very important role in our labor market as they help fill job gaps in many industries and thus contribute to the progress of the economy,” said Marlena Malong, Minister of Families and Social Policy.
