MANILA, Philippines – Forty-three other cadets from the Philippine National Police Academy (PNPA) tested positive for coronavirus (COVID-19), as the 236 cadets and thirteen school staff members who had contracted the virus in the past have already recovered.
According to Cruz, the new instances were recorded as a result of the moment wave of reverse transcription chain reaction tests of polymers administered to 1,451 cadets and PNPA on 28 September.
Cruz said that of the 38 staff newly assigned to the PNPA, he also showed that 4 had become inflamed with coronavirus before taking office.
It indicated that control of the PNPA had been coordinated with the respective sets of local governments for appropriate action.
“For the parents and families of our cadets and staff, we must ensure that those who enjoy are well cared for. However, we ask for your prayers for your spark and your overall recovery,” Cruz said.
