Pizza Hut plans to close 29 of its 244 UK restaurants as a component of a restructuring that will put up to 450 jobs at risk.
The supermarket chain said it was negotiating a voluntary agreement (CVA) with the company as it faced a “significant disruption” to the coronavirus pandemic.
Pizza Hut Restaurants said it had advanced the proposals because “sales are not expected to pick up absolutely until 2021” despite a quick and secure reopening of the sites.
