Philippines reports 61 more coronavirus deaths in 3 weeks

MANILA (Reuters) – Philippines recorded 61 more coronavirus deaths on Sunday, the largest accumulation of deaths recorded since July 18, bringing the country’s death toll to 2,270.

A Ministry of Health bulletin also reported an additional 3,109 infections, bringing the total number of cases shown to 129,913.

The Southeast Asian country leads the region in number of instances and is only a time for Indonesia in terms of deaths.
