MANILA (Reuters) – The Philippine Ministry of Health reported 4,351 new cases of coronavirus and 159 more deaths on Saturday, bringing the total to 157918 infections and 2,600 deaths.
Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte is expected to announce on Monday his resolution to take stricter or larger quarantine measures that were re-established in and around the capital Manila in mid-August to stop the accumulation of new cases.
