The world’s first phase III trials of an inactivated COVID-19 vaccine in the United Arab Emirates reached the target of 15,000 volunteers in less than a month, with Americans from 107 nationalities participating in the program. Volunteers can still register on the www.4humanity.ae portal.
Managed through G42 Healthcare in partnership with the Ministry of Health and Prevention of the United Arab Emirates (MOHAP), the Ministry of Health of Abu Dhabi and the Abu Dhabi Health Services Society (SEHA), the trials effectively decided and vaccinated 15,000 volunteers with the first of two vaccines. they get the process. Volunteers make up 107 nationalities and diverse demographic groups, adding more than 4,500 Emirati. More than 140 doctors, 300 nurses and many other administrative and technical staff members are helping to facilitate the testing of the vaccine.

Meanwhile, as a component of the first expansion of the outdoor programme in the United Arab Emirates, many others now volunteer for Phase III trials in Bahrain, which are controlled through G42 Healthcare with bahrain’s Ministry of Health. These effects will be part of the global trials that began in the UAE and will use the same Sinopharm CNBG inactivated vaccine and the same clinical protocols.
Plans are at a complex level to open more centers elsewhere to ensure that the broader ones have an effect and an opportunity for Americans to participate and enroll in the 4Humanity campaign.
