MANILA, Philippines – A at The Philippine General Hospital in Manila (PGH) died Sunday morning after more than a month of fighting new coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
But two days after her release, she began to feel worse, which led her to return on July 10 to the extensive care unit of PGH, where she discovered positive for COVID-19.
The PGH doctor is one of at least 38 number one care physicians who died as a result of the disease.
