The city of El Paso, in collaboration with the University of Texas at El Paso and the Texas Military Department, opened two more COVID-19 control sites on Wednesday.
One of the new sites is in UTEP. The loose driving verification site is open to the public from nine a. m. four p. m. de Monday through Sunday. It’s in the UTEP Schuster 1 car park on Schuster Avenue at the 1nine66 Spur roundabout on the south side of campus.
On Wednesday morning, at the UTEP site, dozens of cars waited in rows that wrapped orange cones in the campus parking lot in front of Schuster.
Health personnel dressed in blue robes, surgical mask and face screens visited the driving force to provide a mobile phone barcode. Drivers can enter their private data online before going to the tent where the tests were being performed.
