“American Factory” won an Oscar for Best Documentary Film this year for his look at a Chinese-owned factory in Ohio. The Chinese billionaire entrepreneur who is a key figure in the film – Sho Tak Wong, president of Fuyao Glass Industry – will explain have a COVID-19 effect on the facility as a component of a Chinese-American business forum organized this week through Forbes China.
Also from the world of cinema, IMAX President Rich Gelfond will speak this month of the opening in China of the superproduction “The Eight Hundred”, the first Asian advertising film film filmed entirely with IMAX cameras. The epic war has raised $116 million to date.
In the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, the inventory market boom, global politics and industry disputes, Forbes China will host the US-Chinese Industry Forum on August 25 (China August 26) The theme of this year’s forum is ‘Navigating Turbulence’. Senior executives will talk about how corporations navigate the currents of conversion between two of the world’s largest economies and trading partners.
