Papyrus COVID-19 target mask in Egypt

Cairo: An Egyptian tour consultant has developed a papyrus mask, ancient writing material, with the dual goal of combating highly contagious disease and helping to announce hiking.

Egypt’s tourism industry, egypt’s main source of national income, has been the carrier of the global coronavirus pandemic.

Saeed Waziri, an excursion consultant from the ancient city of Luxor, said he had made a face mask, which was used for more than a month with the papyrus plant, related to ancient Egypt. The mask is decorated with pharaonic motifs.

“The mask has attracted the admiration of many other people who are engaged in tourism. It meets the criteria established through the Ministry of Health,” Al Youm Al Saba said through the Egyptian newspaper Al Youm Al Saba.

Sold for 25 Egyptian pounds (5.6 Dh).

“This kind of mask is perceived as a way to publicize tourism,” Waziri said.

In an effort to revitalize its tourism sector and Egypt’s, Egypt will begin re-operating foreign flights to and from express destinations as soon as Wednesday and will give foreign tourists access to some resorts in 3 of the country’s holiday paradises.

Egyptian tourism generated more than $12 billion in profits last year, pointing to a recovery from a long drought, at official figures.
