PANAMA CITY – Panama recorded a record 1,099 new cases of coronavirus infection on Monday, bringing the total number in the country to 32785, while deaths increased from 16 to 620 overall, the ministry of physical conditioning said in a statement.
The record number surpassed the maximum past of 1,028 new instances reported through the Panamanian government on Sunday. (Reporting through Elida Moreno; Edited through Sandra Maler)
