MANILA, Philippines – Experts from the University of the Philippines (UP) who have given the government’s reaction to coronavirus disease (COVID-19) a “failure” rating are welcome to enroll in the working group containing the pandemic, Malacaang said. Thursday.
“Siguro po, tinatanggap natin all responded lak anking by doing mga kaeskwela dyan in UP,” presidential spokesman Harry Roque said in a briefing.
“Siguro po, iimbitahin ko na lang itong tatlong nagsalita for tumulong po sa IATF [Interagency Task Force for Emerging Infectious Diseases] among others, Hindi na masabi na failure tayo.”
(Maybe we’re just going to invite those 3 to help IATF not say we’re a failure anymore.)
“Everyone is welcome to enroll in the IATF specialized organization and I will personally make sure that invitation letters are sent to my 3 UP colleagues,” he added.

With the increase in new COVID-19 infections recorded, the co-founder of the Peoples’ Law to Health Coalition, Dr. San Pedro, said the country was innovative in fighting the pandemic.
Meanwhile, the president of the Health Alliance for Democracy (HEAD), Dr. Dela Paz, said the Ministry of Health “reacted” in its reaction to the physical fitness crisis.
