Islamabad, 10 September
The number of coronavirus in Pakistan reached 299,855 after 441 new infections were recorded in the past 24 hours, the Health Ministry said.
So far, another 287,950 people have recovered from the disease, adding 1,444 to the period, the Department of National Health Services said.
Six others have died in the last 24 hours, bringing the death toll to 6,365, while another 550 people are believed to be in critical condition.
There are 5,540 patients with COVID-19 in the country.
Sindh reported 131,115 cases, Punjab 97,461, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa 36,755, Islamabad 15,804, Baluchistan 13,227, Gilgit-Baltistan 3,137 and Pakistani-occupied Kashmir 2,356 cases.
A total of 2,850,121 tests were carried out throughout the country, 25,081 in more than 24 hours. PTI
