MANILA, Philippines – Approximately 3 billion pesos of health facility (HCI) claims from the Philippine Health Insurance Corporation’s (PhilHealth) Interim Payment Mechanism (MRI) for coronavirus patients are being liquidated, PhilHealth President and CEO Ricardo Morales said Wednesday.
(Programs are currently being liquidated for 3 billion pesos. This we now know who the patient is and what drugs are delivered).
However, he claimed that MRI, which is one of the investigative subjects at the Senate hearing, “was not bagged to anyone as alleged.”
MRI is a measure of PhilHealth’s advance money to provide hospitals with an emergency fund to respond to unforeseen occasions, such as calamities and herbal errors.
