Oxford COVID-19 vaccine: 3 more are vaccinated as opposed to Covishield, with no effect so far, says doctor

The Pune-based vaccine manufacturer has shortlisted 17 sites in India for the Phase II clinical trial of the COVID-19 vaccine, involving at least 1,600 applicants between the age of 18 and 55.

“On Thursday afternoon, three other volunteers, two and one man, won the candidate vaccine after their RT-PCR control reports for COVID-19 and antibody control turned out negative,” dr. Sunita Palkar, head of research, cell at medical school.

On Thursday, two volunteers won the first photo of Covishield. The important fitness parameters of these two are normal, said the medical assistant of the medical facility, Dr. Jitendra Oswal.

“Since yesterday, our medical team has been in contact with the two volunteers and they are fine. They have no pain, fever, reaction to injection or systemic post-vaccination disease,” he said.

“They’ve won all the emergency numbers (to be contacted if) and our medical team is also tracking them,” he added. The dose of vaccine will be repeated in any of the volunteers after one month.

Each player will administer two doses in 4 weeks. The first dose will be given on day one and the dose will be scheduled on day 29″, according to the serum institute of india study.

“The Phase 2/3 clinical trial will be a randomized examination, controlled by a blind observer of covishield protection and immunogenicity (COVID-19 vaccine) in healthy Indian adults, the test plan says.

“After the final touch of the Phase II trial, the reports will be sent to the Data Security Monitoring Board and then to the Central Organization for Standard Drug Control for Phase 3 of the trial,” said Dr. Hemant Deshmukh of King Edward Memorial Hospital.

KEM Hospital, a facility of choice for clinical trials of the vaccine in the country, is also expected to conduct a trial in others on Thursday, a leading medical official at the medical facility said.

“We located five other people and now we’re waiting for their reports. Depending on the effects of the report, the vaccine will be injected into eligible volunteers,” the doctor said.
