BUCHAREST, Romania (AP) — The Romanian government has opened a thief investigation into four workers at neighboring Serbia’s NIS Petrol branch — majority owned by Russia’s Gazprom Neft — over alleged data leaks.
Organized crime prosecutors said Monday that police raided the company’s offices in the capital, Bucharest, and the western city of Timisoara, as well as employees’ homes, as part of the investigation.
