BASRA: A stampede near a football stadium in the southern Iraqi city of Basra killed one user and injured dozens today, as thousands of enthusiasts tried to enter the stadium, the official news firm reported.

The Arab Gulf Cup Football Federation will postpone the final adjustment or move it to another country if the security scenario does not improve, Basra Governor Asaad Abdel Amir told Reuters.
