Waterfront projects to be developed in Ras Madrakah
The municipality of Al Wusta has submitted a tender for 18 progression projects in the governorate, public parks, inland roads, markets, a slaughterhouse and stables.
An official from the municipality of Al Wusta reported that the tenders come with recreational projects – the structure of public parks in the wilayats of Mahout and Al Jazer, and two parks in Haima.
Waterfront projects will also be developed in Ras Madrakah in the Wilayat of Duqm, Ras Sawqra in Al Jazer and Shanna in the Mahout tenders, in addition to a slaughterhouse in Duqm and a market in Haima.
In addition, several commercial and interior roads will be executed and the installation of a bridge on the Adam-Haima road will be erected. The deadline for submission of tenders is 7 July.
The new progression projects will be financed through a monetary allocation of RO 20 million for the government under the Government’s Development Program.
The Ministry of Economy showed that the directives of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik to increase the amount allocated to each governorate from RO 10 million to RO 20 million the existing five-year plan will help the implementation of strategic programs, contributing to the Progression of precedence of sustainable governorates and cities.
