Dubai: a tropical depression in the southeastern Arabic Sea monitored Friday and is expected to turn into a deep tropical depression in the coming hours, Oman Civil Aviation Authority announced.
In a statement issued today, the authority said: “Analysis through the National Center for Multiple Risk Early Warning indicates the existence of a tropical depression in the southeastern Arabic Sea, Friday, May 14. C, 2021 A. D. , along a longitude (72. 3 east) and latitude (10. 5 degrees north), and the estimated wind speed on the surface around half of 17-27 knots (31-50 km/h). Tropical depression would possibly move from north to northwest along India’s western coast as it delves into a deep tropical depression in the coming hours, without affecting the Sultanate’s environment over the next 3 days.
Specialists at the National Multiple Risk Early Warning Center continue to analyze and monitor the latest advances 24 hours a day. The Civil Aviation Authority invites everyone to stick to weather forecasts for long-term advances.
