Oman OETC completes 220 kV power plant in Ibri

He is in line with Oman Vision 2040

The Oman Electricity Transmission Company (OETC), a member of the Nama Group, announces the finishing touch of the structure of a solar power transmission station in Wilayat de Ibri.

The solar power transmission station, a 220 kV grid station with a structure load of around 7. 5 million RO, is the first grid station connected to the Ibri solar power plant. The allocation is in line with Oman Vision 2040, which focuses on moving towards renewable strength resources and contributing to the alleviation of carbon emissions. The network is characterized by the absence of transformers compared to the rest of the network station where the force produced is transferred to the main ground cables of the network with the 220 kv that feed the GIS and transfers the force to the main network of the corporate through airborne lines.
