The Gulf of Oman state intends to launch tenders for 3 roads in the southern governorate of Dhofar by the end of October, local media reported on Monday.
The Dhofar Directorate of Roads and Land Transport has completed the design of the 3 roads and is in the bidding process, reported the Arabic Al-Watan and other Omani publications.
The allocation refers to the structure of three roads connecting other parts of Muqshin Welayat in the governorate to facilitate the movement of other people and goods in those areas, according to the report.
“Detailed technical designs of the roads were prepared. . . the Directorate plans to include finalists for allocation by the end of October,” Al-Watan said, adding that the roads will have a total duration of about 165 kilometers.
