Cairo: Oman recorded 1,739 new cases of the new coronavirus on Monday, an increase of 582 cases of the previous day’s count, while the sultanate is fighting highly infectious disease.
The newest bring a total of 68,400 infections in the country, the Omani news firm ONA, which mentioned the ministry of fitness, reported.
Newly diagnosed cases come with 1,514 Omanis and 225 foreign residents, the ministry said without offering a breakdown of non-Omani patients.
