Dubai: Omani citizens will no longer be able to use the national emblem or flag without obtaining a license from the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Investment Promotion, local media reported.
In a social media post, the ministry said legal action would be taken against violators for the royal emblem without permission.
The license to use the emblem, flag and map of Oman can be received from the Ministry.
According to the Law of the National Flag, Emblem and Anthem, its use as a trademark or for advertising and advertising purposes is prohibited.
It is also forbidden to use the emblem on jewelry, products or tools manufactured or imported without the prior permission of the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Investment Promotion.
