Oman and Libya new coronavirus deaths

Oman reported 10 more deaths on Monday due to the coronavirus pandemic, while Libya recorded six deaths.

In a statement, Oman’s Ministry of Health said 476 new viral infections had been reported, bringing the country’s total to 90,222 cases, 790 deaths and 83,928 cures.

In Libya, the National Center for Disease Control said six others had died and another 734 had the virus.

Libya’s count has reached 23,515 cases shown, 368 deaths and 12,762 cures.

Since its first detection in Wuhan, China, in December, COVID-19 has killed more than 924,000 people in 188 countries and regions.

The United States, India and Brazil have recently been the hardest hit countries.

More than 29 million cases have been reported worldwide, with recoveries of more than 19. 6 million, according to figures compiled through Johns Hopkins University in the United States.
