Oman Air to resume two weekly flights between Doha and Muscat

International flights restart in Oman on October 1

Oman Air is about to resume flights twice a week between Doha and Muscat, the airline announced. Starting October 1, the airline will offer flights between the two locations on Sundays and Thursdays. The news comes after Oman announced the resumption of foreign flights in early October. Currently, only Omani citizens and citizens can travel to Oman. If you are making plans for the Sultanate and are not an Omani citizen, you will want to take foreign fitness insurance to cover the coronavirus treatment fee for at least one month. You must pass a COVID-19 check at the airport, which will charge 25 OMRs, before quarantine for 14 days. You’ll also want to download Oman’s COVID-19 app, Tarassud. Children under the age of 15 will not have to take the check. Full main points on the needs of those traveling to Oman can be found on the Oman Air online page here.
