Dubai: Oman’s Ministry of Health has reported 740 new cases of coronavirus, bringing the total number of infections shown in the Sultanate to 84,509, Oman’s news firm reported.
Meanwhile, 28 patients with COVID-19 succumbed to the fatal virus, raising the death toll in the country to 637.
The ministry noted that the number of COVID-19 infections and deaths is higher, as no cases have been reported during the weekend and holidays.
The ministry also noted that 37 patients had been hospitalized in the last 24 hours, adding that the total number of patients hospitalized lately were inflamed with COVID-19 406, adding 149 in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
In addition, the number of recoveries 78,912, or 93. 3% of the new instances reported.
