Olivia Valere nightclub in Marbella, Spain, closes after positive for COVID-19

THE Olivia Valere nightclub has closed its doors after staff members tested positive for COVID-19.

Monday night’s closing came here a week after announcing that one hundred percent of its staff had undergone PCR control and that everything had been negative.

However, of the approximately 80 reviewed, some began to feel in poor health a few days after the checkup and had symptoms of coronavirus.

One of the employees reported the club and Local Police contacted the company to make sure the protocol was followed in case of positive cases.

Last Wednesday (July 29), the epidemiology unit of Cary’s Primary District of the Costa del Sol Angels asked Olivia Valere for data on all the staff who were there because she believes an imaginable case has been detected.

“For security measures and for the well-being of our customers we have decided to close,” the nightclub said on its Facebook page this week.

It will be disinfected and cleaned and scheduled to reopen on Thursday.

It is not known how many members tested positive for COVID-19, however, they will self-isolate at home, according to protocol.

Control of the club said that Olivia Valere, the owner of the same name, is badly affected by the situation, but added: “Although this happens in many other companies, the club is still the one in the media.”

This happens after the club had to close in mid-July when it exceeded the coVID-19 limits.

Another 150 people joined the club to watch Algerian artist Soolking play.

Valere said the other 150 people were “other young women” who controlled “sliding” through the emergency exits.
