Oklahoma State University quarantines entire sorority after 23 members were tested for COVID-19

Tensions between parents eager to restore elegance to their children and teachers who are concerned about the infection have been exposed in Arizona, where an outdoor school district in Phoenix was forced to cancel classes Monday after more than a hundred teachers fixed an illness. “We got an overwhelming reaction from the staff who indicated they didn’t feel like going back to the study rooms with the students,” said Gregory Wyman, superintendent of the Olympic Games. The Combs Unified School District said Friday in a letter to parents. Wyman said he didn’t know when “in-person teaching” would resume and that virtual learning had also been canceled. Teachers’ action defied a 3-2 vote across the district board to reopen the study rooms. Teachers’ union president Joe Thomas said the district had failed to take into account the benchmarks that the Arizona Department of Health Services had suggested that schools depend on when they would reopen.

Actress Sharon Stone revealed over the weekend that her younger sister Kelly Stone in the hospital was fighting COVID-19 and blamed others for refusing to wear a mask for their infection. “My sister Kelly, who already has lupus, now has COVID-19,” the “Basic Instinct” star wrote on an Instagram post. “It’s your hospital room. One of you who didn’t dress in a mask did. He doesn’t have an immune system.”
