Ohana has reportedly already lobbied for the bannion of Jerusalem protests or moving from the same old site outside the official residence.
On Friday, Ohana told the Duo tenth Channel in an interview that her greatest preference for the entire audience, on all sides, is to “lower the flames” and avoid disorder and violence.
On Thursday and Friday there were outdoor demonstrations at the Prime Minister’s apartment on Balfour Street in Jerusalem, with other primary demonstrations scheduled for Saturday night.
On Thursday, police arrested some 16 suspected far-right activists after a demonstration of extremist gangs in Jerusalem saw hounds and others attacked, under police control to prevent the organization from approaching and could assault anti-government protesters. All were released later.
In recent days, there have been alarming attacks on anti-Netanyahu protesters through alleged far-right assailants, adding a bloody attack in Tel Aviv on Tuesday.
Before Saturday’s mass demonstrations in Jerusalem and Tel Aviv, police were in favour of more possible acts of violence.
