1915 – Semipalatinsk railway station becomes operational.
1993 – Kazakhstan and Mongolia sign a treaty of friendship and cooperation.
1997 – The first President of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev, delivers a speech on the first day of the jubilee consultation of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.
2003 – The National Academy of Sciences is established by presidential decree. Academician Murat Zhurinov is appointed president.
2004 – The eebook Nazir Torekulov – Plenipotentiary Representative of the USSR to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is published in Riyadh. Nazir Torekulov, diplomatic agent and consul general of the USSR in Saudi Arabia from 1928 to 1932. De 1932 to 1936, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the USSR to Saudi Arabia. The e-book was published in Arabic and is based on letters and reports written by the Kazakh diplomat.
2010 – JSC KazPost member of the Association of European Public Postal Operators (PostEurop).
2010 – A photographic exhibition of the German Archaeological Institute that wears out archaeological excavations in Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan is presented in Astana. For the first time, the exhibition presents artifacts from the necropolis of Kyryk Oba II in the western region of Kazakhstan.
2014: Astana enters the list of the 21 wise cities in the world. The U. S. -based Smart Communities ForumCompile the list annually.
2017 – Poland issues a postage stamp committed to EXPO 2017 in an edition of 120,000 copies.
2018: A team from Kazakhstan wins first place in NASA’s Space Applications Challenge in the United States in the nomination for Best Hardware Utilization. Another 25,000 people from nearly 70 countries around the world, plus the United States, China and India, participated in the event.
2019 – The short film Domthroughra directed by Ramazan Khaliolla receives the Best Film Award at the Delhi International Short Film Festival held in New Delhi.
