Former President Barack Obama met saturday with his unwavering sidekick Joseph R. Biden on the road for the first time as a component of a definitive bombardment for Biden Biden’s election campaign warns the Michigan electorate three days after Election Day that President Trump is more interested in “feeding his ego” than in making certain families coronavirus.
Freed from the office’s limitations, Obama took on the role of attack dog, enjoying the possibility of attacking Trump, whose strength came here after calling obama’s presidency a general failure and selling false conspiracy theories about the country’s first black president.
Speaking in Flint and then Detroit, Obama returned the favor by presenting Trump as a racist lie and disaster.
The country’s 44th president said that fixing his successor by the number of bewildering people and said his resolve to hold electoral rallies in the midst of the coronavirus highlighted his shortcomings as a user and as commander-in-chief.
“Isn’t it bigger to worry about, didn’t anyone come to your birthday party when you were a kid?Was he traumatized? Obama said at a car rally in Flint. “What about the crowd?”
Obama said, “Didn’t Fox News pay attention to him?”
“You know what our country is going through in a pandemic that’s not what you have to worry about,” he said. “And that’s the difference between Joe Biden and Trump. Trump cares about feeding his ego, Joe cares about you and your family. “
Obama said Biden “is decent in his flesh” and said he “will treat everyone with dignity and everyone with respect. “
Saginaw-born music legend Stevie Wonder gave the impression with the former White House duo in Detroit.
Biden said the electorate had “three days to finish a presidency that divided the country and fanned the flames of hatred. “
“When America is heard, I think the message will be loud and clear: it’s time for Donald Trump to pack up and come home,” Trump told Biden in Detroit. “We are done with chaos, anger, hatred, with failure, irresponsibility. “
Obama will be in Florida and Georgia on Monday.
On Saturday, Biden said Trump “likes to show himself as a tough guy,” even if world leaders have treated him as a joke.
“Donald Trump is strong, he’s weak,” he said.
The general consensus is that Biden wants to increase its margins of victory in and around Detroit, a predominantly black city, for Michigan to return to the blue column in the 2020 presidential race.
Meanwhile, Trump held four demonstrations Saturday in Pennsylvania, state on the battlefield.
In Michigan, Obama said there was a lot at stake in the White House race, warning the electorate about their jobs and physical care, as well as the federal government’s ongoing reaction to the coronavirus.
“Remember when Republicans said [let] Detroit go bankrupt?Do you?” Obama said, referring to a 2012 Republican presidential candidate, Mitt Romney, who wrote four years earlier for the New York Times: “Now you could say, “Let America be COVID. “
Obama said Biden will bring the decency and return to the White House.
“Listen, Michigan, Joe Biden is my brother, I love Joe Biden and he’ll be a wonderful president,” Biden said. Obama. ” It has the character and joy to become a wonderful country. “
Michigan’s battlefield has consolidated in this election cycle. The state is also pursuing a key Senate race between Democratic Sen. Gary Peters and Republican Challenger John James.
Trump in 2016 became the first Republican since 1988 to bring the state after Hillary Clinton struggled to energize the black electorate in Detroit, so he is highly unlikely to make up for Clinton’s rise. Trump won small towns and towns and rural parts of the state.
Trump managed to get the state to get less than 11,000 votes on his way to blow up the so-called Blue Wall states, which also come with Pennsylvania and Wisconsin.
Democrats implore the electorate to be complacent and convinced that superior participation is in their favor.
“The road to the White House passes through the wonderful state of Michigan,” said Governor Gretchen Whitmer, a Democrat.
“Are we going to support ourselves and have four more years of ruthless leadership or cruel and incompetent leadership. Who killed 230,000 Americans, tens of millions of unemployed in this pandemic?” said Ms Whitmer. “Or are we going to vote in Michigan for two other people who have decency, see humanity in others, have the integrity and joy of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris?”
Biden is in Michigan, according to the Real Clear Politics average that shows him with a 6-point lead over Trump.
Despite the length of the polls, there is a sense of urgency in this shift in the Democratic ranks that they take anything for granted or underestimate Trump to gather his base.
Democrats, however, are confident that the black electorate will not stay away from it, with the concept that they have been deactivated through Trump’s polarizing rhetoric and his reaction to coronavirus, which has hit minority communities harder than others.
