According to a new survey, the number of other people killed through Covid-19 in Spain is more than 16,000 higher than the official death toll.
The analysis of knowledge through El País, one of the main newspapers in Spain, revealed that at least 44,868 people died from the virus that the 28,432 registered through the Spanish Ministry of Health.
This would make Spain’s death the time in Europe, just under 46,201 in the UK.
The country stated that its team had combined the country’s regional government archives with 3 studies on the number of excess deaths, and included others who died with a suspicion of Covid-19, as well as showed cases.
The figures of the Spanish Ministry of Health recently tell only other people who tested positive for the virus.

Separate studies carried out through the Carlos III Institute of Health, the National Statistical Institute of Spain and the Spanish Association of Professionals and Funeral Services counted 44,418, 44,395 and 43,985 deaths respectively.
The Carlos III Institute of Health and the National Statistical Institute receive public funding, respond to government departments, and base their findings on official data.

The Ministry of Health says its count follows world health organization (WHO) guidelines.
