Carlos Alcaraz returned the Serbian to the top spot in world ratings after winning the name Indian Wells on Sunday.

“I don’t regret it,” Djokovic told CNN. I have learned from life that regrets only stop you and make you live in the past.

“I don’t need to do that. I also don’t need to live too much in the future. I need to be as much as at the given moment but, of course, think about the future, create a better future. “

“So I congratulate Alcaraz. Il merits to move back to number one.

Djokovic said it was a shame that he wasn’t allowed to compete in the U. S. In the US, where he has enjoyed wonderful success, adding 3 of his 22 major titles.

“It’s the existing state or existing scenario that I hope to replace later this year, for the US Open. This is the maximum tournament for me on American soil.

The Serb said the controversy had tarnished his enthusiasm for the sport.

“In fact, on the contrary, I am more excited than ever, more motivated than ever by the sport, my family, my foundation, everything and everything I do off the court,” he said.
