Northern Samar representative Paul Daza tested COVID-19

MANILA, Philippines – North Samar’s first district representative, Paul Daza, revealed Wednesday that a test for coronavirus disease (COVID-19) had been done.

According to the legislator, he returned to Catarman from Manila on August 8 to monitor the stage in his area, but before leaving for Catarman, Daza said he had undergone a swab test that showed it was negative for COVID-19.

Daza said he then visited his district and met with local officials, network leaders and their constituents.

It was on the night of August 16 that Daza said he had begun to “feel bad. “

“Aware of the desire to practice and isolate myself, I continued to paint paintings of our house in Daganas and fainted. I also took prescription drugs from our local doctors,” Daza said.

Daza asked those who were with him before August 16 and until August 24 to contact the local fitness government in his area, in accordance with the rules provided through the Ministry of Health (DOH).

The legislator added that he had also told his Congress and Daganas’ external workplace to promptly release a thorough search for contacts in coordination with local and fitness authorities.

“In the meantime, I will continue to paint my paintings in the House of Representatives from my hospital room through teleconferences and online,” Daza said.
