PHOENIX, August 10, 2020 / PRNewswire / – Nikola Corporation (NASDAQ: NKLA), a global leader in zero-emission and infrastructure solutions, announces a minimum order of 2500 Electrified Garbage Trucks from Republic Services, expandable to 5000. This order is scheduled to begin full production deliveries in 2023 and road testing is expected to begin in early 2022. Garbage trucks are expected to bring up to 720 kWh of energy storage, the industry leader.
